- David Copus elected new chair of CMHA Alberta Division

- CMHA Executive Director Elected as Alliance Chairperson - The AAMIMH elected a new Executive Committee at its March 10, 2009 General Meeting. The new Chair is Tom Shand, Executive Director of the Alberta Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association, while the two Vice Chairs are Pierre Berube, Executive Director of the Psychologists' Association of Alberta and Kaj Korvala, Executive Director of the Organization for Bipolar and Affective Disorders. Sharon Sutherland, the outgoing Chair of the AAMIMH, will assume responsibility as Past Chair on the Executive. In his opening remarks, Shand extended appreciation on behalf of the AAMIMH membership to Sharon for her service and leadership throughout her tenure as Chair.
